| As you can see, we have become sailors in 1983. So far we have scarcely ventured off the beach. Jeremy is the artist of the Linocut. Di and Bob continue singing. Bob will perform Gabriel from the Creation in April 1984 with the Victoria Symphony and Choral Society, and Di is auditioning for the Symphony's 1985 season (Mahler). Sarah is studying to perform in the Canadian National Music Competition. So, many of us may end up traveling (besides Bob who still gallivants around the continent teaching Analysis and Design). Jamie and Simon are persevering with the violin (Simon is in book 6 and Jamie playing his first Bach minuets). This has been another busy year. We have been conspicuous consumers: (everything breaks down eventually like washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and cars). We have a new Volvo wagon. Unfortunately it is too small for the family circus. |
